Lagrimas del Valle Blanco La Loma sample from kyle koskey 46 abv michoacán agave This expression really works for me. Some of my favorite things = cascahuin profile, michoacán agave, high-proof, tahona crushed (at least partially), wood fermentation and fern with fibers (partially). my favorite profile = anise, mint, minerality, agave, pepper, spice. Delicious!
nose: anise, herbal, agave, citrus, pepper and some alcohol palate: cooked agave, anise, barrel spices, chocolate, caramel and pepper it keeps evolving as it opens
Aroma: subtle tropical notes, baking spices,-earth, minerals Flavor: oily mouthfeel, love the mouthfeel, nice balance, soft notes of a barrel but the blanco still shines Finish: medium-long a lot of mint on the finish *does not drink like a 46%
Aroma: raw material, earth, dirt, Flavor: very viscous, a wonderful mouthfeel, savory- some olive notes- this definitely is a sessional. Aromas and flavors pop from first sip to last.
Nose: Oak, agave, honey, vegetal, lime zest, fruit Palate: Black pepper, agave, minerals, Finish: Nice on the gums with a very easy finish dissipating quickly Nose was much more enticing than the taste. Mouthfeel was good but enjoyed the other Ranches a bit more.
This is really good. I liked it
