Very nice nose of agave, floral notes, ripe fruits, vegetal notes. Citrusy. On the palate sweet cooked agave, minty, vegetal notes, hay. Very pleasant finish. Great viscosity. Very close to Palo Verde and I could pick either as the top for this brand.

On the nose, delicate floral notes mingle with hints of citrus and spice. On the palate reveals layers of flavors, from sweet agave and tropical fruits to a mid peppery finish lingers long time .

Lágrimas del Valle Plata - 2024 La Loma. Rancho location: Villamar, Michoacán, elevation 1,540 meters. LOTE 599, bottled on 241024, tasted on 11-16-24. Aroma: cooked agave, hint of raw agave, light green vegetal notes, hint of sourness, hint of earthiness, light acidity, after 20 minutes in the glass the cooked agave note becomes sweeter. I feel that this rancho’s vegetal note is cooked, while the previous 3 releases are raw and feel "greener" and slightly more expressive. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, ethanol sensation is slightly higher on the palate and vegetal notes feel greener, hint of artichoke. Less sweetness on the palate. Finish is medium to long, cooked agave with a hint of raw agave, light green vegetal notes with a hint of earthiness persists. I feel that this blanco will be tastier having spent some more time in the bottle.
