Drinks more like a blanco than a repo (which is fine by me). Nose is agave, black pepper, plum/prune, minerals. On the palate it's fresh cooked agave and the signature 1123 minerality. Not a ton of barrel influence to speak of save for a light touch of honey and brown sugar. Heat rises at the end for a spicy black pepper finish. A clean tequila that showcases the agave of the terroir.
