Drinks more like a blanco than a repo (which is fine by me). Nose is agave, black pepper, plum/prune, minerals. On the palate it's fresh cooked agave and the signature 1123 minerality. Not a ton of barrel influence to speak of save for a light touch of honey and brown sugar. Heat rises at the end for a spicy black pepper finish. A clean tequila that showcases the agave of the terroir.

Great nose with Citrus, agave and some lemongrass. The taste is so nice with minerality, agave, honey, and citrus. Once this opens up the finish is so buttery. Another Chava hit!

Will need to revisit. Not as good as the blanco or the other Lagrimas repos.

NOM1123, tequila Lágrimas del Valle Reposado 2024 La Loma. LOTE 604, bottled on 111224, tasted on 1-6-25. Color: just a tad of yellow, almost transparent. Aroma: cooked agave, acidity, light herbaceousness, light green vegetal notes, good light sweet sour & acidic balance, 30 minutes in the glass the agave notes become slightly sweet. Hint of citrus. Aromas are slightly subtle. Light earthiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation just like La Loma blanco is medium to medium high, hint of pepper. Slightly minty. Flavor just like aroma is slightly subtler than the previous 3 estate releases. Finish is medium to long, cooked agave with herbal, light green vegetal & light earthy notes persist.
