This profile was solid (back then) Tried the shampoo cap bottle and enjoyed it Well balanced and good profile overall
Boozy and agave forward, this flavour profile reminds me of tequila when I first started drinking it, makes for a nice memory. No nonsense or additives, this is a well made tequila that won’t disappoint.
Tasted at the Agave Bros “Battle of the Blancos”
2008 shampoo top. Warm cooked agave, yet some crisp clean floral notes on the nose. Same goes for palate. Some slight smoke comes through for some reason, but a Pleasant surprise. Minty half way through with some nice herbal and sweet cinnamon balance. Great stuff if you can find it with a solid level. Although I prefer the 2010 round top release. This is solid AF..

Updated 06/02/2025 (side-by-side blanco, reposado and añejo. All bottles purchased in 2012.) Aroma is very vanilla forward with some baking spices underneath. Sweet, vanilla flavor upfront followed by a bit of sweet spice. Short finish that doesn’t leave much to remember. Similar to the blanco, there is nothing really bad here but there is also not really anything good. No complexity, no evolution of flavor, no real finish. Might have been fine at the time (2012) at $24.99 but not something I would look for now.
