By far the best of the Volcán! Thanks Juan Carlos for the taste. Aroma is good—plenty of agave and appropriate sweetness. The taste is an explosion of agave and light mineralality. Really good! The finish is medium and great. 500 ratings!
More aroma than the reposado but still light. Some sweetness and light agave. Good aroma. Taste is easy and smooth. I hoped for some more “bite” like a good tequila should. Finish is good and quick. Summary: a great tequila for non tequila drinkers. They would like the ease of this drink.
Tough rating for me. I can’t get any aroma off it. I even poured some my hand and used it like aftershave. But still nothing! Taste is quickly barrel before a hint of agave. Finished with some pepper and burned sweetness—lightly bitter.
I use to love the blanco. Revisiting it I get some medicinal, chemical notes I’m not sure about.
Volcan de mi tierra blanco tried at the cellar in cabo apr 2025 Palate is better than nose with sweet agave alcohol yeast Finish is subtle with minerality and pepper I deducted points for cost
