This is a nice anejo. There is a good amount of natural sweetness in the aromas and flavors but without being overly sweet. Sweet cooked agave is front and center with great barrel aromas and flavors that follow. Nose: cooked agave, vanilla, oak, caramel, cinnamon, and a hint of almond. Palate: cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, oak, and almond. There is a nice long finish where that almond is very prominent. Very enjoyable. Can’t beat the price point either. I paid $65 for my bottle.
Caramel, American oak, vanilla and cherries. The palate is delicious with a sweet agave, vanilla, caramel and cured fruit. So way better n the palate. I think this is fantastic.
