Nose is very nice with a lot of citrus and minerality. Taste is relatively light but balanced. Soft mouth feel. A bit of acetone at the end is tricky. Finish is medium long and alternates subtly sweet and bitter. Gains a couple extra points for value. Overall, better than the average repo, for sure.
Ageave, anise, licorice on the nose with hints of maple syrup and gingerbread on the nose. Taste of agave, caramel, cinnamon and citrus
Nice agave forward with notes or earthiness with strong citrus notes, black pepper and salinity
Pedro furtivo anejo Sample from Matt Cavanaugh April 2025 The first time I tried this, i got a lot of alcohol in the profile. The next time I tried it, there was still some alcohol, but it was subdued. Nose: fruity, barrel spices, cinnamon, some alcohol. Palate: agave, vanilla, caramel, creme brulée, some coconut and alcohol on the end. Points off for the alcohol in the profile.
