Pedro Furtivo Blanco 12/2024 let this one open up. it gets better Nose at first (neck pour) brine pepper hay/yeast alcohol vegetal. agave came thru as is opened up. Taste is sweet agave fruit vanilla. Medium finish with sweet vanilla and pepper
Very nice nose. Light in color. Barrel notes of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel. On the palate I do get sweet agave and I also get barrel notes of vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. It is a nice repo that is very representative of what one might expect from this expression. For $42, it is an excellent value.
Nose of agave and apple. Sweet Pastry. On the tongue I get agave, some floral notes and fruit - apple. Very nice finish. This is a $34 blanco. Very enjoyable and a good value
Tasted this at Arte Agave Atlanta 9-27-24. The nose on this is great!!! Sweet cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, baking spices. There’s a tremendous amount of sweetness and delicious barrel flavors coming from this Repo. Very smooth and refined finish with a nice medium viscosity mouthfeel that really holds the flavors for a nice long finish. Very good. Looking forward to drinking this again!!!
I tasted this on the fly at Arte Agave Atlanta on Sept. 27, 2024. Strong sweet agave forward. Nothing specifically spicy…hint of peppermint- not black pepper- anise and some light fruit and floral hints. This was really very good. Excited to see more from this brand.

Pedro furtivo repo dec 2024 I love the nose! fruity, subtle barrel notes, very little oak, which is good for me. I like it! Very easy sipper. My guess is it's not aged very long, or they used exhausted barrels
