Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, stone fruit sweetness, slight acidity, slightly earthy, light black pepper. 30 minutes later the agave notes become sweeter! Baked red apples with a touch of cinnamon. Fresh & not cloying. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance, light orange note. Finish is medium to medium long, sweet cooked agave with good acidic & citrus balanced notes persist.
Mexican 38% abv. versión, no lot code nor marbete, gray plastic twist cap with fun stopper, acquired recently, tasted on 7-5-24. Aroma: light cooked agave with light briny sensation, light minerality, light acidity, hint of sourness, slightly herbaceous, after 30 minutes in the glass the mineral aroma becomes more intense. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, mineral sensation is quite intense and ends a tad dry. Finish is medium, hint of cooked agave, light herbaceousness, hint of sourness with mineral notes persist. At the very end an agave sweetness emerges.
