Nose: Right away, you get cooked agave, fresh citrus, and a hit of florality. And if you know the 1414 profile, that signature minerality is right where you’d expect it. Palate & Mouthfeel: Excellent texture - it’s creamy and full without being heavy. Sweet cooked agave is front and center, backed by earthy notes and that same wet stone vibe from the nose. Citrus cuts through clean, and there’s a touch of anise in the mix. The floral character builds as it goes, and by the finish it starts leaning a bit astringent…not necessarily a bad thing, but noticeable nonetheless. Finish: Carries the floral edge through with some lingering spice. Hangs on longer than I realized at first. Final Thoughts: It’s not flawless, but it’s damn good. The florality rides the line - sometimes a little much, but I love that this profile is pushing the edge. The core flavors are solid, and it drinks like Spring in a glass.

Nose: Very crisp light aroma. Sweet lemon citrus with agave kick. Mild pepper. Grapefruit, fruity, herbal, and sweetness. Like a lemon cleaning product with mixed in, in a good way. Palate: Medium mouth feel and thickness. Sweet agave on the front palate. Shortly followed by beautiful savory butter. Earth and mild pepper comes in. Fruit with plum and prune. Nice sweet lemon finish. For $40, this is a great value

Signature 1414 profile on the nose, clean palate with a medium heat on the finish. An easy sipper that’s not complex.

Nose: very light agave sweet note / hint of vanilla/ banana/ hint of pear / hint of lime / tea / very light floral scents/ Lavender Taste: agave sweet / vanilla/ hint of cinnamon/ banana/ melon / hints of grapefruit and lime / licorice/ lemongrass/ orange peel / nutmeg/ touch of cream soda Finish: very watery wet and bright ‘cool water’ effect on finish/ sweetness and lime notes remain throughout the whole sip. Bittersweet ending on final swallow This blanco has some great nose aromas and taste notes that make it a complete tasting experience…but the nose is very weak. There are definitely aromas on the nose, but they are extremely faint. Otherwise the flavors and finish are good.

I am a huge NOM 1414 fan. My initial crack and taste on this one is it is really good but not a “blow your socks off “ good that I usually get from a Sergio Cruz tequila. The nose it light and brings out cooked agave, apple, and citrus. I’d like a little more aroma on the nose. Taste is of sweet agave but not like a Siempre. I get black pepper a bit of alcohol taste that again I didn’t get from other 1414 offerings. I get some citrus and floral tastes. I plan on giving this one some time and I may come back and update this if I get something else out of it. Overall, I do recommend this one but right now I would pick Siempre Blanco over this one but I am very happy to have both.

Nose: I get cooked agave, citrus, honeycrisp apple, and possibly a hint of cinnamon. Palate: Citrus, Cinnamon, Artichoke Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied Finish: Citrus, possibly anise and black pepper on the finish. It was not the most complex blanco I've had but I enjoyed it.
