Cannabis flavor Tequila. No actual CBD or Cannabis byproduct added to this tequila. Overly sweet to me. Tastes like a rum, with some molasses and residual sugar. Pretty herbal. Got to applause the innovation spirit to develop this, though.
I tasted this at a Tequila Club meeting last April. It was just being released in our local area. Adictivo is a gringo favorite down here.... The aromas and flavors were entirely too much like foraging on forest vegetation that was never intended for human consumption. Then to the steroidal herbal notes, add massive amounts of very unnatural sweetness.... Atrocious. What were they thinking.
There’s no actual cannabis in this product, so don’t worry, you won’t get high from it. It’s made with cannabis-like flavoring. Since I don’t like the smell of marijuana it should be no surprise that I am not a fan of this. Yes, the aroma is herbal, but also cheesy lactic, wet earth, and black olive aromas. The aroma is intense and overwhelming for me. These aromas don’t carry into the flavor, though. Instead it’s got a super sweet licorice thing going on. I’d be interested in hearing from people who like this. I’m not a fan of additives and flavorings, and my score reflects this.
Smells like sugar, slight brine and a faint whiff of marijuana. I’m looking for the agave but not finding it. Tastes like simple syrup with a slight cannabis finish. Not sure why this exists, since it doesn’t have any active marijuana ingredients nor active agave aromas and flavors. Strangely, my biggest issue (with this product snd the whole Adictivo line) is with the intense sweetness. It smells like there is a real tequila hiding under what I can only assume are added sugars.
Es muy herbal, demasiado, se pierde el sabor del agave, de repente predomina un sabor parecido al jugo de caña, es decir a azúcar, buen souvenir, mal tequila
Oak and toasted almond on the nose, smells good enough to take the leap. Just waaaaaaay to sweet to have more than one but an improvement over the Reposado in than at least it has some oak in the background.
We sent six blanco tequilas to 28 members of the Tequila Matchmaker Tasting Panel to rate blind. Four of them are new to the market, and two of them are tequilas that have been around for a long time.
This does not taste like tequila, it reminds me more of agave nectar than an agave spirit. It is a great dessert liquor but not by any means would recognize it as a tequila.
