NOM 1477 | From the nose I thought this might have a chance. Then I tasted it. I think this just raised my blood sugar a hundred points. This is super sweet city. I don’t even like desserts this sweet. I cannot recommend this to anyone who wants to try tequila. This is not tequila no matter what the label might say.

Nose: agave/ VANILLA / pepper / caramel / pineapple/ orange / mint / black tea / nutmeg / honey / chocolate/ Taste: sugar - artificial sweetener/ vanilla/ cinnamon/ apple / pineapple/ melon / coconut/ banana/ orange / mint / nutmeg/ honey / chocolate / molasses Finish: smooth and very sweet throughout the whole taste / vanilla and artificial sweetener linger heavily/ low viscous mouthfeel / quick minty finish This anejo tastes good except the artificial sweetener and over the top vanilla. I like it, but it doesn’t taste like a tequila to me. It’s also just enjoyable and would appeal to people who want vanilla sweetness as heavy as a sugary cereal. Can’t say I didn’t like it, just that I don’t think of it as a tequila I’d drink often.

This does not taste like tequila, it reminds me more of agave nectar than an agave spirit. It is a great dessert liquor but not by any means would recognize it as a tequila.

NOM 1477 | While always suspicious of overly sweet Añejo I appreciate Adictivo and the effort to fill a niche in the market. Aroma is off the charts sweet with the usual suspects—caramel, vanilla and even brown sugary molasses. Taste is crazy syrupy with more of the same. Finish has some root beer as well. No agave anywhere.

NOM 1477 | Way, way too sweet. Maple syrup sweet. Not trace of cooked agave. Overly sweet ... did I mention how sweet this Anejo is? it just doesn’t taste anything like tequila.

NOM 1560 | Aroma is sweet, vanilla and caramel were noted. Taste was also sweet, great flavors of fruits and cooked agave. Finish was smooth with a quick peppery ending.

Oak and toasted almond on the nose, smells good enough to take the leap. Just waaaaaaay to sweet to have more than one but an improvement over the Reposado in than at least it has some oak in the background.

Super sweet nose with spicy notes. Entirely too sweet and manipulated. The entire line up of expressions is a poor example of true tequila. Brings new meaning to “Americanized tequila.”

This is extremely sweet. So sweet that it no longer resembles a tequila at all. The aroma has some fruit and baking spice but the flavor is so loaded with sugar that I can't taste anything else. Finish is non existant. This is a product designed for people who don't like tequila.

Heavy aroma and flavor of pitted fruit (peach, guayabana?), baking spices and caramel. Little to no finish. Saccharine aftertaste. So sweet it tastes like a schnapps or sweet digestivo. No agave, therefore I wouldn't consider it a tequila.

Even sweeter and more syrupy than the Repasado. Not bad but very sweet.

NOM 1477 | Thought not a traditional tequila, this has an exceptional flavor and it a real treat. Was not expecting the sweet smoooooooth flavor but very much enjoyed it! What a pleasure to sip!

The worst anejo I’ve tasted to date. Nothing about this tastes even remotely like tequila. Smells and tastes like cheap perfume. Sickeningly sweet, artificial flavor. The bottle design is the only positive here.

NOM 1477 | This is a dessert tequila excellent for sipping. It is very sweet and has caramel and maple flavors that can be a bit strong. I like this over a large ice cube after dinner as the melting ice tends to soften the sweetness.
