N- agave, herbs, olives, orange, grass, and a little vegetal T- Cooked agave, black pepper, olive brine, oregano, mint, malo funk, citrus fruits MF- thin F- surprisingly low heat. Medium in length and a little spearmint lingers V- I had to have it shipped but it was still worth it. Another banger from Sergio

I tasted this as part of the Fuerte Fanatic Fuerte Friday series. I need to re-taste to gather better tasting notes. I really liked it and it is a great value. More to come.

Upon pouring, the aroma of this tequila immediately captivates with a punch of cooked agave, accompanied by delicate citrus nuances and a hint of white pepper. Surprisingly, there is little to no alcohol presence, allowing the sweet caramel-like note to entice and invite you to take that first sip. In the taste, the promised agave bomb flavor explodes in your mouth, delivering on the anticipation created by the aroma. This intensity is attributed to the unique production method, where fibers are utilized during the process, enhancing the tequila's depth and character. In addition, it has the bitter/astringent fingerprint at the end from NOM 1414. Along with notes of caramel, olive, herbal nuances, white pepper, with fruity appearances. With each sip, the richness of the agave is unmistakable, leaving a lasting impression that lingers on the palate.

Agave, black pepper, and mango on the nose. I also get some vegetal notes on the back end of the nose. On the palate I get more of the same, mango, possibly pineapple, the same vegetal notes, only more pronounced. Artichoke certainly comes to mind. The finish is straightforward and as blunt as a 2x4. Fruity, Agave, Vegetal and Black pepper. Strangely, I feel that I appreciate each of those notes in that order. I enjoyed this more than I expected.

Nose: Lime, salt, agave, mint, green apple and minerals. Very appealing Palate: Oh man, this was enjoyable. Cooked agave, salt, citrus, pepper, and lemon zest. This was reminiscent of the sweetness of their 40 abv blanco but much better. Finish: Nice mouthfeel with a touch of heat on the tongue. Need to find me a bottle of this.

Flowers right off the bat. Light flavor of cooked agave, light earth flavor then light butter then light black pepper. I say it that way because the flavor doesn’t jump out at you but they are there. Overall a great sipper at 88 points. The flavor is unique & subdued. Definitely does not sip like a 47% abv. I think it would make a superior Paloma. I love the fermentation w/fibers. If they would have done cement tank I think it would have been even better. Upgraded to 89 after enjoying it as a high point 3 separate tastings.

Aroma: the aroma on this was is classic Cascauin with a citrus and minty punch. The smell takes me to summer with its bright and fruity notes, balanced well with obvious touches of agave and pepper. Palette: since this one is a high proof there is a distinct kick that hits the tongue immediately though it’s followed by some intriguing traces of fruits like pineapple, pear and surprisingly banana. I’ve never picked up banana on any tequila thus far, not to be confused with a synthetic additive taste but a natural earthy finish. The mouth feel is consistent with a well made tequila from this distillery, oily and slick just as I prefer.

Bright clean aroma. Starts off sweet, followed by fresh vegetal notes and finishes with a woody pine bitterness. Silky mouthfeel. This is the type of profile that I like - could be the added fibers. One of my favorites from 1414.

Funkyyyyyy. I love it, has this malo type of nose to it. A combination of cooked and raw agave. Nice and herbaceous.
