The aroma has a soft floral note, with soft minerality and the same grassiness found in the Blanco, not overpowering but complemented with cooked agave’s prune essence and light berry which all the notes can also be perceived on the palate upon sipping and savoring. I was delighted that even though the taste was indeed wine-forward it was not overpowering and didn’t drown my tongue in flowery notes. A very soft taste with bits of minerality still being distinct. I was impressed and instantly thought this was one of the best, yet few, Rosa Blancos I could enjoy. I look forward to comparing it to others in a side-by-side

tried for first time at sabor y cultura LA. I really like this line. rested in tempranillo wine barrels previously used by @santosbrujos

Small tasting. A nice representation of the Rosa expression. Admittedly I’m not usually a big fan of wine barrel aging, but I’d drink this one again. Has some agave with a little sweet, fruit, tannic, and dry. It’s not too bold in any direction so it’s an easy drinker making a good entry for wine crossovers.

Sample from Robert Meyers Tasted in Chisholm Trail Glass Aroma. Initially Cooked Agave with some Raw Agave coming later. Lots of Minerals and Earth. Light Citrus and Fruity notes. Some Dried Plum and Grape, Cinnamon, and a nice Vegetal component. There was some Herbal and Grassy notes as well. Taste: Very Fruit forward with some Strawberry. Agave is present. Lots of Black Pepper that turns to Spicy Cinnamon. Nice Minerality and Earth. Some Cherry and Vanilla notes as well.

The nose is good, and its initial taste is good, but the finish is bitter sweet. Comparison to Cazcanes Rosa is ridiculous, as i wouldn't purchase again, but I do recommend.

Aroma: Cooked agave, red fruits, red cherry, minerality , dried fruit, fruit jelly/jam, creamy, slight buttery, strawberries and cream, earthy, vegetal light , raw agave, molasses like fresh cooked agave after it’s cokes if you ever had it, cooked sweet potatoes/yams, slight oak, pencil shavings, prunes, yogurt notes, wet dirt Palate: cooked agave, red fruits, cherry, some tannins , clean and slight dry finish, minerality, wet dirt, slight creamy notes, really easy drinking barely any burn, floral, jasmine tea notes, floral and almost reminiscent of a floral gin, lingering sweetness like biting into a fresh caña, fruity and like tropical fruit punch, fruit roll ups Really enjoyable one of my favorite Rosa’s available. As you let it open up it keeps revealing more notes little by little.

Definitely one of the best rosas on the market. I’ve tried Codigo, Montagave blanco and anejo, Cazcanes Blanco and Reposado, etc. Nice fruit notes from the wine but not overpowering the strong cooked agave flavor. This is definitely still a blanco tequila. Very easy to drink. For sure to be a competitor for the other high quality rosas on the market.
