Another great estate from Lagrimas with nice clean aromas and flavors of agave, minerals, lime, herbs, and a nice spicy kick.

more minty than pepper flavor. Finish brings some heat but not a burn. good, but nothing stands out to me on this one.

2nd tasting from the set of 4 Lagrimas expressions. As opposed to the Palo Verde, this blanco displays more vegetal notes like green pepper and olive along with stone fruit & some citrus with earthy tones. Reminded me a bit of Fortaleza Still Strength. A winner!

For $45 i paid solid bottle not worth the $70 it’s fetching in some areas. It is a simple briney blanco, not very sweet, no one overwhelming note its just straightforward and simple doesnt move the needle for me but at $45 I would grab again and make cocktails or neat, willingly share with others. Overall point is solid tequila look forward to subsequent releases from Lagrimas.

Aroma is earthy, anise, wet agave, alcohol, and herbs. Flavor- wet agave , earthy minerals, silky anise, olive, and it’s delicious. Finish is silky smooth with a bite from the alcohol but an earthy finish that is wonderful.

I just love this tequila. For me it's a near perfect blanco. But I happen to like the vegetal and fresh cut grass notes in a blanco. Just enough black pepper and bite to make it interesting. Only the high cost brought my score down to an 88. Well done Lagrimas and NOM 1123

Very tasty. Getting pickle, grass, good amount of sweetness with this one. Palo Verde was probably a little better and was better priced but this is still a delicious blanco. Would definitely add 2 points if overall price was similar to Palo Verde.

Nose: Rich, cooked agave. Heavy minerality, orange and lime zest on the back end. Some sweetness and fresh cut grass. Palate: Sweet cooked agave immediately on the palate with some pretty strong mineral notes. Fresh cut grass, green bell pepper and black pepper. The second sip I get citron zest (orange, lemon) with a little olive brine. Finish: A little ethanol burn comes in at the end. Heavy on the minerality and citrus peel (orange and lemon hit heavy) spearmint, white pepper. A little astringent.

3rd night Bold aroma of minerality, fresh agave, smoke, ethyl, citrus zest, and very meek wisps of cooked sugar makes the presentation. Initially tasting, the palate gets dominated by minerality before fresh agave, smokiness, earthy, peppery bite ,sour grass, licorice, multiple types of citrus zest ( citron, lemon, orange etc.) come through. A striking taste of terroir flavor that is distinct from its predecessor. The finish is short with cooked sugar, grassiness, and minerals, that eventually leaves the tongue with a pleasant watery cleanness. Pure in it’s totality.

LOTE 406, bottled on 020823, tasted on 10-5-23. Aroma: intense cooked agave with medium sweetness. Crisp clean green notes, minty, slight acidity, aromatic herbs, good sweet sour & acidic balance, resinous sweetness! Palate: confirms aromas perceived, sweet spearmint. Finish is medium to long, sweet cooked agave with minty herb notes persist.

Agave, wet grass, minerals on the nose. Olive, brine, agave, pepper on the tongue, not as refined as its predecessor (Palo Verde). Minty, spicy finish.
