Nose: still get some of the funk, more cooked agave comes through, floral, light butterscotch, and citrus Flavor: cooked agave, fruit, caramel, orange peel, and light brininess, with a creamy mouth feel Finish: medium to long that has some sweetness then moves to white pepper spice.

tried at LATF industry party 2023 but cigar bar aromas skewed my tasting so... tried again at Monterey tequila fest 2023, and I really enjoyed both the blanco and repo. I didn't get the malalactic notes typically present with 1599 expressions. deducted a couple points for price but this is a really really good tequila

Tasting Notes [small sample] Taste rating: 86 (Price point is a factor to consider as this platform is not built for the brands purpose/projects) Framework: Maintains NOM 1599 fingerprint, this reposado is an agave forward expression, which I enjoy as there’s not many of them out there. This was aged for 4 months. Produced in Spring/Summer season Herbal: Subtle Lemongrass, anise, herbal nuances Sweet Citrus: Orange peel/mandarin/grapefruit/pomelo Spices: White pepper Anise/clove Fruity: Green fruits, green apple, pear & Cider Terroir: Mineral & Earthy Wood: Minimal barrel spice Additional: Low astringency Bitter/briny Metallic Unsure of price point at the moment (but maybe in the $130-150 range), but with a purpose to leave a positive impact on the environment and the people involved in crafting the tequila. Liked the blanco more than this repo.

Lote: VRC01/23, tasted on 12-11-23. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, light lactic note, slightly acidic, light fruit sweetness, slightly earthy, at the end it has a light metallic note. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance. At the very end the light metallic note emerges. Finish is medium to long, cooked agave with light fruit sweetness and light acidity persists.

In August, I had the opportunity to savor Valor's Reposado at the LA Tequila Club Event. The depth of the flavor was remarkable and delicious. Agave forward, very smooth, subtle caramel. I’ve been following Valor's social impact work in Tequila Jalisco and I’m eagerly anticipating the brand's growth positive contributions. It’s really great to see their Repo out!

I was so thrilled to taste Valor’s Reposado at the LA Tequila Club Event in August. It was an absolute exciting experience to try it before it was released! A clean, smooth Reposado where the agave is the true star of the show. I was incredibly impressed that Valor has kicked off their social impact work down in Tequila Jalisco. Excited to watch this brand grow and all the good work they will do!

I have had their Blanco before and really liked it, so when I was able to try this tequila for the first time at an LA Tequila Club event, I was excited. I thought it was delicious! It struck a really good balance with the aging while still maintaining the cooked agave flavors. It was a bit spicy, earthy, and a bit sweet, but didn't taste syrupy at all. It was smooth and easy to sip on it's own. It will definitely have a place in my collection.

I had the pleasure of attending an event by the Tequila Club of LA and try this tequila as well as several other brands. The event was fun, highly recommended. It was great to hear about how each was made and what traditions they use. I was taken mostly by the work Valor was doing in their small village to help with education as well as the life of their workers, bottom to top. I can't overstate how moved I was as somebody who was born and raised in a very small farming town myself. Bravo Valor! On top of that, the Tequila was amazing. It was smooth enough for me to sip and enjoy, no burn, no squinting. I like the upfront taste a lot but was really surprised how much I loved the finish, a little spicy and really fresh in all the best ways.

Wonderful repo. Had a chance to try at a tequila event in LA. One of my new faves. Nice golden color. Uncommonly smooth. Cooked agave. Herbs/flora. Some caramel and honey, butterscotch. A warm finish. Worth the splurge.

I absolutely loved the blanco and was excited to hear the reposado was in the works. Tasted the reposado at the LA Tequila Club event at Second Home, and it was a homerun for me! True to its mission; high quality, agave forward (42%), and intentional!
