A blend of 9 anejos and 12 extra anejos. Nose is mellow and sweet. Rich vanilla and cinnamon. Slight buttercream. A decent amount of oak up front, caramel and cinnamon once again with that buttercream. The finish comes off slightly tannic from all the aged blends.

It's a very good tequila, agave, smoke, and hint of wood. Has sweet almost candy like undertones. Almost like water smooth and more mellow of taste. But honestly, the bottle I purchased of this tequila, tasted almost exactly the same as the regular anejo, which is very good as well, but less expensive. The only real difference I tasted was this was smoother and more mellow on the taste. If you find a bottle for not much more than anejo, there will definitely be a great value. But for a significant price increase over the regular anejo, you'd be better off buying the regular anejo. Recap: Great tequila, but the value might not be there over the regular anejo expression.
