Somewhat fake taste... not impressed.

Natural smoky flavor but not over powering to the agave. Great balance with flavor and a favorite to poor beat in a glass to sip on.

Aroma: got that stank and smoke aroma - not a fan Taste: I get the smoke not much of discerning agave profile. Minty; something doesn’t taste right Finish: some alcohol; decently long finish with some heat and tingle

It takes some getting used to. It's printed on the bottle that they use charcoal to cook it. Well it stands out.

Light smoke aroma. Smells like it has more of a bite than the silver. Caramel undertones. A stronger bite to the finish than the silver

On the nose you get lots of smoke, underneath you reveal mineral, cooked agave, mandarin, oak, pepper and vanilla. Upon sipping you are welcomed with cooked agave, bitter orange, oak and caramel. On the finish the bitter orange and oak continues while the mineral and smokiness starts making an appearing

Very light straw color, the smoke comes through on the nose, a bit heavy of ethanol. Has a nice blend of a light mezcal smoke while still getting the cooked agave and vanilla flavors. The finish is a bit long with a good dose of ethanol burn. Overall very good neat, will be nice with a large rock.

Bottle: L23038PA300 0922, LOTE RA 0123, No. HP 23038 Appearance: Light straw Nose: Smoke, charcoal, mesquite, cooked and raw agave, oak, cedar, butter, citrus, lemon, pineapple, black tea, minerality, wet cement, pine, maple, banana, alcohol, black pepper, apple, cinnamon, and cider…off to a really good start Palate: Smoke, charcoal, cedar, cooked agave, basil, black tea, butter, minerality, wet cement, pine, mesquite, black pepper, alcohol, citrus, orange peel, oak, vanilla, cinnamon, and whiskey…wood is more prominent and fruit is less so Finish: Shorter length, smoky, and mildly bitter…decently enjoyable Overall: When I first opened the bottle, there was an overwhelming acridity on the nose and palate. After the neck pour, the smokey elements settled in and allowed for some more complexity while still remaining at the forefront. As a fan of mezcal and smoky flavors in general, this is pretty good. Is it at good as the Patron Gran Smoky? No, but it’s also 1/3 the price.
