Smell is very pleasing. Light sweet cooked agave, good minerality, black pepper notes. Long finish

Aroma of cooked agave up front and serious with a tinge of vegetal, vanilla, cotton candy, and very slight ginger notes. Flavor of agave, licorice, vanilla, black pepper and slight green pepper. Viscosity is a bit too watery for my personal preference, akin to Mijenta but still hokds flavors to the finish.

Tequila General Gorostieta NOM 1414 Aroma: Initial notes of crisp and raw agave, white pepper, herbal and fruity notes. Definitely let it open up to enjoy its majestic organoleptic profile. You’ll be delighted! Taste: Cooked agave is prominent but also complimented by some herbal touches of sage/lemongrass and Los Altos petrichor. In addition you will taste sweet remarks of green apple and pear that evolves into a slight bell pepper/spearmint bite to it. Overall the profile offers a Mineral & Tannic sensation. Slightly briny notes at the end. Medium finish This is a blanco tequila that must sit in your bar! Highly recommended

This has a strong agave, black pepper, hay, earthiness, and little caramel. Very easy sipper

Tequila General Gorostieta Blanco $65 USD (Sip Tequila) I want to echo Pepe Matz tasting notes. He's spot.on. An agave bomb on the nose with sweet, rich cooked and green agaves. This has a light body, but offers up layers of complexity on the palate. It finishes an build up of white pepper, natural vanilla, and light sweetness of cooked agave.

On the nose, fresh agave and pepper. Small ethanol smell to it. Tiny bit of citrus at the end. On the taste, sweet agave at the front end. Less pepper than the nose. Small citrus note at the end but the finish is mellow, not much punch to it. Short finish, it doesn’t linger. Overall tasty and enjoyable.

Not overly complex but has some nice flavors, pepper, cinnamon, agave just a little bit of vanilla. I like this and would definitely drink again.

Tasted at Los Angeles Tequila Festival. A well balanced Blanco!
