There is a dispute in the tequila over the right to certify and label tequila as additive free—but the small brands producing it are bearing the brunt of the fallout
To help ease your shopping experience, we decided to see how well bottles $50 and under would perform against bottles $100 and over in the only fair way we know how. That’s right, we’re talking about a blind taste test!
tried at los cabos airport May 2024. beautiful bottle. based on what the sales person told us, this is a similar concept to volcan de mi tierra= blend repo and XA (VdMT is much better than the Patron tho). It was a tiny pour in a small plastic shot glass. it was ok, drinkable, not as complex as i thought it would be, got the oak/whiskey, some sweetness but not horrible. not something in my wheel house, and overpriced in my opinion.
