This is consistent with other El Mayor offerings. Similar to the regular Anjeo except it does run a little hot for a 40 proof and slightly less flavorful.

Some of the flavor and aroma have been stripped out. A citrus taste and some spice and agave. Mildly hot finish.

The taste of alcohol prevents this one from being as smooth as it should be, and the aging & filtering processes have killed the agave flavor to the degree that it doesn't satisfy as either a clear tequila or an anejo. Probably best for cocktails.

Rubbing alcohol and pears on the nose. Citrus on the tongue. Smooth though. Feels hot on the finish and in the chest.

very nice aroma, good agave notes , smooth with hints of pepper and spice , overall good but I believe Cristalino's loose a little with the filtration process
