oct 20, 2023 revisited. got similar notes but I'm not loving this repo. nose is hotter than the blanco, and I don't care for the palate or finish of the repo aug 20, 2023 just received the bottles today. we opened, poured and let them sit about 30 mins to open up. i like the nose. trying to get a read on what I'm tasting that's so unique. I'm liking the repo a little better than the blanco, but I'm disappointed. Was expecting better. wondering if it went bad from the high temps during transit. adding this note Aug 21, 2023 woke up with a sore throat, headache and flu-like symptoms, which may have affected my palate last nt. will revisit this expression when I'm feeling better

It's definitely barrel forward, a little light on the agave. A little pricey for a reposado but very sippable overall.

Not so great on the nose for me. Notable alcohol smell had me thinking this was a one and done. It drinks much better although it’s pretty sweet and has no complexity in my opinion. Smooth and easy to sip though and finishes fairly nicely. At $70, probably not the best value as Siete Leguas is $20 cheaper and better if you ask me. Plenty of others beat this out at the same price as well but all in all, it’s enjoyable.

Well balanced reposado. Aromas of oak, vanilla, cooked agave. Flavor is soft with notes of wood, vanilla cooked agave and pepper. This is a nice reposado that’s easy to drink.

Vanilla on the nose and the taste. Felt somewhat sweet to me, not a bad level of sweet and not fake tasting. I would recommend this one as an after dinner drink. I will def look to drink this one again.

Mexican 38% abv. versión, LOTE NURO3322, tasted on 12-11-23. Color: yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, vanilla, slightly earthy, buttery, light green vegetal notes. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is higher on the palate, light black pepper. Finish is medium to long, light cooked agave with earthy and green vegetal notes persist.

Heavy caramel on the nose with a mild agave aroma. Notes of nutmeg in the spice notes. Flavor is agave and caramel on the front with a light oak finish that lingers moderately long.
