Pretty good. I like the beer fizzy influences. Still a little too sweet.

Brilliant effort in experimentation! Too sour for me personally.

Very funky, almost vinegar notes from the beer barrel along with hops as a first impression. A couple of folks thought it had a Kombucha vibe to it and while never having tasted that, I got from their description the musty funk of this was very similar. Not a cookie cutter Reposado by any means.

Es un perfil que claro que vale la pena probar, quizás su principal fortaleza es la novedad, en el primer sorbo sorprende, agrada, pero pasando la sorpresa, el sabor y aroma impregnado por la barrica de cerveza cansa y resta

Nose: Begins with aromas found in a glass of hard cider/beer that has been left out overnight. A bit sour, with over ripe fruit notes: perhaps plum and raisins. Aroma of malted milk balls. Spicy cinnamon, trace cloves and zest of grapefruit. Flavors: Spicy and peppery entrance. Dark coffee, bittersweet chocolate, caramel and malted milk ball. But some bitterness too. Fairly feisty in the mouth. A little disjointed.... Finish: Some ethanol lip numb. More fruitiness shows up toward the end. A dark and heavy flavor impression lingers. This is a tequila that is indeed unique.

Aroma has a hint of sour beer, which I can sometimes enjoy. This isn’t too strong because there are still other aromas as well. There’s a funky earthy vanilla thing going on in the nose. Definitely unique. Flavor is nice, cooked agave, mushrooms, dried fruit on the palate. Finish is a bit spicy and that’s where I feel like I am detecting the emphasis of the beer cask, with a little bit of hops as it fades.

Lote: LFORTUNA01, tasted on 3-22-24. Color: yellow. Aroma: at the beginning the wood note is quite dominating, after 30 minutes in the glass the wood note is softened a little and a light soft sweet pungent honey aroma emerges, light acidity, light vanilla, citrus, a hint of cooked agave. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, wood note is more noticeable on the palate even after 30 minutes in the glass, minty, fresh. Citrus orange. Finish is medium to long, light honey, light citrus, light wood note, light vanilla with a hint of cooked agave persists.

Nose is agave, wood, sweetness (from beer), dried fruit. Nice finish. Sticks around but doesn’t linger.

View: clean, transparent with a wheat color 2 of 4, nice golden shades and tones. Nose: very complex to identify, a strong note of wood and the beer foam it’s alway present, a unique combination. Taste: complex to define flavors or taste notes, the beer presence is remarkable, hiding another taste from the tequila

Quite different and interesting . Sweet, sour, spicy, but still nice tequila . Great experiment with a different kind of barrel. Tastes more like a cider effect , than beer. Some days I like it , others not so much . Worth the try though when yearning for something different.
