I’m rating the Blanco without gold flakes. The juice is the same minus the gold. At first I get bright citrus notes and raw vegetal agave. Then there is some minerality and a hint of alcohol. I taste vegetal agave and some minerality behind a lingering pepper. There is some natural agave sweetness and a nice alcohol tingle on the palate that continues into the finish. The price hurts the rating as it’s currently $85 online at OTT.

Review for the Blanco without gold flakes . Aroma: cooked agave, raw agave, anise, cinnamon, black pepper, mint, peppermint, dry fruits, pear, cherry peach, pineapple, citrus, lemon, grapefruit. Flavor is full of fruits and agave with mint and peppermint. Finish sweet and intense with fruity notes.
