Nice mid of the rack tequila, good for mixing. Aroma of cooked agave, bake bread and citrus. Flavor full of cooked agave and flowers. Finish is smooth with flowers and agave.
I love this tequila, it reminds me of what tequila used to taste like before everyone discovered additives.
This reminds me of older Don Julio Blanco on the nose with some yeast and baked bread aroma with strong underlying roast agave. In the mouth this is all agave and floral elements and much agave pepper. Finish is easy and all at the tip of the tongue and inside the lower lip. Nice repackage of the Corazon.
Smells like it would be a great tequila. Boy was I wrong. (Keep in mind I try tequila’s as a shot). The initial taste was okay, but a burn (kind of like rubbing alcohol) came shortly after. Followed by a very bitter taste that is indescribable. My only hope is, is it will taste good as a mixer because this is pretty rough.
Enjoy the Flavor and Aroma. for being a tequila under $35. such a great tequila for the price.
Nice nose…. Agave, green olive, earthy, grassy, some alcohol. Medium mouthfeel. Slightly sweet followed by cracked-pepper bite. Warm peppery finish.
Slight agave almost a sweet smell maybe some mint. Lingering alcohol taste. For $30 it doesn’t stand out there’s better for less and equal money
Red Eye to NY mini bottle: The Aroma snaps the nostrils with agave, vanilla, lemon citrus tang, earthy, tropical fruit, slight ethyl that’s non-scathing. The Taste is total opposite from smell with Agave, peppery, definite scathing seizing ethyl, earthy, and raspberry The Finish earthy agave, ethyl latches onto the pallets and doesn’t let go for the entire ride, which is such a turn off, putting it mildly.
Great cheap tequila. I drank it neat. I keep this around for my husband that doesn’t not care to sip. He slams this in shots. Great classic tequila taste.
Decent mixing tequila. Used to be my go to mixing tequila, until I found suerte and arrete. Very floral and a little too sweet and you lose the agave a bit.
Overall, underwhelming characteristics but smooth. Light pepper, floral and agave is less pronounced. Mint is discernable but very slightly. Price of $22 U.S. in Michigan is a good deal. I prefer something a little more bold for mixing. NOM 1103
Aroma: very delicate Flavor: almost bland Finish: some pepper Completely misses character for me. Some extra points for value, got this bottle in a german shop for 22€.
Citrus smell, alcohol, strong agave flavor, herbal
The smell to the nose is like acetone by comparison... If you take a quick shot or put it in a mixed drink it will be okay; However....Do not sip it as you will regret it.. When I first started drinking tequila I thought this was good..It is not... Thank you.
Good blanco for shots or mixing. Value and flavor make this an easy pick without breaking the bank.
Smooth
Left no aftertaste
Agave aroma Smooth sweet soft body Pepper and spicy Lemon
Aroma is heavy ethanol. Very smooth and easy to drink but not great flavor
Tasted very good but it gave me a bad migraine. I was looking for a cheaper alternative and this brand is mentioned frequently. Hard pass for me. Taste is superior to other budget tequilas (Espolon) if you don't have issues with the headaches.
Firstly, the taste is definitely great for the value. Nice smooth finish and great for cocktails. Not too harsh and and with the pricing you’d think it’d taste like plastic but this? Good stuff. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an inexpensive tequila still get a quality based taste.
At first there’s too much alcohol on the nose but then you smell some agave and citrus. Blast of alcohol, then mineral mater, tropical fruits and citrus, vegetation. Some slightly bitter flavors. Great value. Good neat. Definitely not as good as some $40+ things I have tried, but I like it and will definitely buy it again. It loses points in overall score due to the alcohol blast at nosing and strong alcohol taste up front.
it was smooth. kinda harsh initially but the tater was good, finish was alright, not my go to tequila but worth the price for a good drink on a non special occasion. more of a margarita type of tequila. the notes were nice a little citrus & earthy tones. it's a fair drink
sweet but could be smoother
