NOM 1122 | Light wood notes, citrus, orange peel, apricot with light heat. Nice mouth feel. Good value coming out of Cuervo Distillery

NOM 1416 | Starts off with all the right smells, roasted agave and almonds. My English father would love this, tastes exactly like fruit cake & marzipan, fruit cake is my sworn enemy. Once all the painful childhood Christmas memories fade, the finish has a sour note halfway down your tongue, not really offensive but not a flavour I’m after when drinking tequila. Overall it’s ok, just not what I’m looking for in a tequila.

NOM 1137 | I’m totally puzzled why so many rated well above 80 points. From 1137,the agave notes were covered by an odd, not necessarily pleasant aroma. Mouth feel was thin and dropped out quickly. Finish has a bitter, unpleasant finish. I feel my score was generous.

NOM 1137 | It's delicious, it's smooth, it touches on smoky.

Sweet vanilla notes to the nose. Strong peppery notes. Quick and crisp finish.

Accidentally came across this brand. Smooth, sweet, and my recent go to for mixed drinks. Bought the few bottles they had left @ my grocery store because it was $25. Not sure if that’s a good or bad sign.

NOM 1137 | Aroma of oak like you would expect from a reposado, elements of a blanco in the flavor. This doesn’t appeal to me, I suspect there are lots of tricks and additives at play here. The aroma does not match the flavor, not a great finish. Not a big fan of this one.

NOM 1416 | Another bridge out of the super-additive collection. Still additives but some agave shining through. Don’t mind it at all.

NOM 1137 | A lot of cinnamon. Agave is present. Finish has heat but good flavor. I suspect some additives but it’s not overly sweet. Decent value at $40

NOM 1416 | Expectations were low, so wasn’t too disappointed. Pretty much your bottom shelf offering in influencer-friendly packaging. Probably fine for mixed drinks/gag gift.

NOM 1416. Great stuff. Has an earthiness about it that is very nice. Not ridiculously expensive either. They've moved NOMs twice since I reviewed this.

Nice balance of smoke & sweetness. Cooked agave, carmel and tobacco in the aroma. Oak, barrel spice and butter in the taste. The finish is semi oily with vanilla and some pepper that last for about 60 secs.

Nose: prominent roasted agave, smooth carmel, with slight smoke, leather, pepper and a hint of orange. Palate: Sweet, slightly oily mouthfeel with a decent heat bite. Excellent balance of cooked agave, carmel, vanilla, and pepper on the front end. Hints of oak, tobacco, barrel spices and cherries rounds in the mid palate. Finish: Short on the finish with a slight sweetness. I suspect JaJa has additives but it's a pleasant and affordable reposado, but a tad on the sweeter side.

NOM 1137 | This tequila does not taste very sweet to me. I’m getting smoky flavor on the nose fairly heavy and a nice agave aftertaste. Maybe a little overpriced for my taste but I may buy again. Worth a try if you like smoky agave with a bit of a mezcal, minus the Michelin tire, aftertaste. I will say I came back and increased my rating a bit after having a few shots which I never do. The initial taste is a bit rough but what tequila isn’t. My favorite thing about this tequila is the taste actually improves as you become accustomed to it. The flavor evolves a bit as you drink. Worth a second drink and a third ;)
