NOM 1122 | Surprisingly good aromas and flavor profile of cooked agave, light pepper and citrus. This brand has jumped from one distillery to another over the years and ends up at Cuervo … fare price to value

NOM 1137 | JAJA Blanco NOM1137 I get some agave and alcohol on the nose. There is also a vegetal and hay note. I first taste a lot of herbal notes that then turns into a slight peppery note before ending minty. The nose and taste dont line up and when I rub in between my hands im left with a slightly sticky residue and that isnt a good thing. I was expecting more from this product. I do like the bottle and label but if the juice isnt good then all you are left with is a nice package. UPDATE - I reviewed the JAJA Blanco from NOM1416 and it’s better!

NOM 1416 | JAJA Blanco NOM 1416 There are a medley of soft aromas; agave, vegetal & pepper. They are equally striving to take the lead. I taste a peppery agave with hints of mint. The finish is a lingering pepper tingle like peppermint without the overwhelming sweetness. This is a good blanco for the price and an improvement over the prior batches from another distillery. Its a move in the right direction. Salud!

NOM 1416 | Sweet finish. Good beginner Tequila. Or mixer. Good price point.

NOM 1137 | Slight agave smell, but along with some harsher chemical notes. Light orange peel. Sweet and slightly oily in the taste. Finish is OK. Obviously this is great as a mixer but I wouldn’t really sip it neat. Not a lot of complexities either.

NOM 1416 | Slight agave tastes almost sweeter than you’d expect it to, possibly some sweetener or additives in there. It’s not horrible by any means but for the price and less there are some comparable options

This was on the back bar on our cruise. Aroma of cooked agave and not much else. Flavor is weak agave. Finish wasn't much, either.

NOM 1122 | I always like to empty the glass and sniff for 5 minutes or so. This one has a large aroma of coca cola. I guess that is the vanilla i picked up on flavor

NOM 1137 | Really nothing special. Decent price point. Sweet aroma, but mass produced. Negates the natural process of tequila making. Nose: rose, orange, vanilla, white cake. Finish: honey, Carmel, clove, cinnamon, lemon.

clean, intense cooked agave, lots of vanilla, initially had a rough texture, but the bottle has opened up and it's softened a bit. initially had a very solvent flavor to it, which would indicate bad cuts, but again, those notes softened slightly into black pepper. the finish was off-putting, but turns into straight sweetness. being that this bottle is NOM 1416, I'm guessing there are additives, and I don't see any indication of production method, so I'm assuming autoclave. overall, it seems like they're trying to hide inherent flaws

This juice can't seem to find a good home. Began life under the original Casamigos folks (NOM1416) moved to Casa Noble (NOM1137) and has ended up at (NOM1122) with 1800 of all places. It's on clearance at Walmart right now for $15 under the old 1416 Casamigos NOM. It tastes exactly like Casamigos. I taste the same vanilla additives.

NOM 1137 | Single worst tasting tequila I’ve ever had. What did expect from 1137 LaCofradia anise funky smell and taste. Nothing there.

NOM 1137 | This tequila has a strange smell that I can not identify and it’s not a good smell. There is some agave here, but there is a strong alcohol element that is stronger than the agave. On the plus side, it’s not super sweet, the weird smell is not in the flavor, and I didn’t pay a lot for this bottle. Not a premium tequila. Maybe one for weeknights or mixing. I may not go for this one again.

NOM 1137 | Strange aroma & flavor. Almost no agave or pepper, but some sweetness, earthy & grassy vegetal? Smooth finish. Bought on sale at Uptown Spirits for $19.95 so really good value. Don’t hate it, but not sure I’d buy it again.

Really need to let this one open up in the glass for 30-60mins. Earthy fresh agave with herbal nuances in the aroma. Fruity cooked agave, and nuts in the flavor. Finishes with buttery sweetness and grassy undertones.

NOM 1137 | This is a better mixer than sipper, very strong flavors.

NOM 1137 | more alcohol forward than I expected. sweetness and spice are the main flavors. Oddly, the tequila is better straight or on rocks than in cocktails. I think it is because of the forward sweetness. Overall, a good tequila. Maybe not a repeat buy.
