Aroma is very full with vanilla and barrel spices. Taste is ok. It’s a bit bourbony and heavy. Not my favorite. Reminds me of the Kirkland Añejo. Finish is very good though. Full and warm and even some baked agave sneaks in.

Nicely aged, a little heat, cooked agave shows well. Side note, nice closure set up on this bottle.

This picks up right where the reposado left off, an excellent oak treatment that retains some agave notes. The extra time in barrel has tempered some of the spice and sweetness and leaves an excellent product.

Subtle flavor and spice. Very mild taste and finish. Good starter for sipping.

weird teq, more whiskey than teq, cinnamon, caramel, and oak flavours, sweeteners probably, it's not naturally sweet. Not my favourite at all

Color: light to medium gold, looks darker in the bottle. Nose: caramel, cooked agave, vanilla, butterscotch, mineral, cinnamon, chocolate, and alcohol. Good nose! Palate: palate, not as good, but isn’t terrible! You get a lot of the same flavors from the nose, but added oak, and whiskey flavors. Finish: short, but warm! Overall, I wouldn’t buy again, there’s much better options for the price! Bought in Colorado for $70

Gets points for price.(Never a good way to start a review. Haha). The main feature is the sweetness. This is heavy caramel with the secondary flavor being vanilla. There are some minor notes of agave and oak but not to much. I’m going to conjecture that the Cenote line is a gateway tequila from Jose to more complex and flavorful tequila. I encourage everyone to keep progressing because there are some wonderful tequilas in your future.

Sweetness enough for sipping. A good 1/3 of this anejo Cenote to 2/3 good repasado for an outstanding Margarita. Can't beat the price for this quality.

Nice barrel character. great sipper. vanilla is there but not an additive. this has become my house sipper for $55. better than most $75+ anejo I've had.

Alcohol, vanilla on the nose. Thin, but not too thin mouthfeel. Warm, spices through finish.

A little light on the nose but pleasant with some oak, vanilla and agave. It goes down easy and those flavors intensify to a great finish that pleasantly lasts. Reasonable value and I will buy again.

Taste is a bit harsh. The añejo is a drop off off from the Repasado

Very gentle aroma with subtle agave, caramel and some vanilla, backing a predominantly oak fragrance. A nice balance of flavour that is consistent with its aromas and a smooth finish. It gets better with each sip.

Smooth and sweet aroma. Very smooth sipper. Nutty sweet oak flavor, a touch on the mature/sophisticated side of things.

Nose: oak, vanilla, oak, apples, the longer in the air the oak definitely comes out, and the vanilla diminishes, airing definitely brings out the agave of this variety, flowery… Taste: very light on the mouth, and softens over time, agave off the back of the palate, pepper, Finish: nice oak finish Thoughts: very worth the sip
