This doesn’t blow my mind. It’s got a nice consistency though. Brown sugar, molasses, sherry.

Not a lot of distinguishing characteristics on the nose but a nice, pleasantly sweet agave flavor with a slight burn on the finish.

Excellent barrel work, I still gets lots of agave while taking my pallet to Kentucky and everything I love about bourbon. I’m going to start using this to make cocktails.

Quixote Rocinante split decision. Is this good tequila or is it a very good tequila? Rocinante says flavor is very enjoyable. Rich without being fussy. Quixote says, well, I gave this to Rocinante as a present as it was pretty good and found in Canuckistan where this tiny contract tequila doesn’t have to compete with Fortaleza, but it beat out the anejo which maybe rated lower than Ixa. Dude agrees that it has a good aftertaste... maybe a bit of medicinal aspect at start.

nice aroma , you can pick up on the agave and wood , I would guess American Oak barrels for aging , nice flavor , again you can pick up the agave and wood , hints of leather and honey , smooth with very little sweetness , overall a nice reposado .
