At the bar: I was more than pleasantly surprised by this drink, the taste of stone, wood, cherry, oak, burnt sugar, agave citrus , brine, and ethyl left an impression upon my palate noting, mentally, that I must some day purchase my own bottle so that I can ruminate and marinate upon the aromas and flavors more leisurely in my personal enviroment.

Overall I think this is a pretty good drink. More whiskey than tequila but if you’re into those flavors, it will probably be a winner for you.

Expected something else on this one, a little to bitter, very whiskey like, overall ok but nothing memorable

Dry and barrel-forward with woody notes, light caramel, leather and earth. A breath of vanilla on the finish. This is a whiskey drinker’s tequila; refined and heady. Collect, age, decant by the glass and enjoy.

This EA strongly reminds me of Irish Whiskey. It greets the palate with an astringent molasses or peanut brittle assault. The bitterness is impressive in its staying power if you like that effect. I can smack my lips for minutes after each sip and still taste and feel the pucker in the back of the roof of my mouth. Then the effect finally softens into a faint vanilla vapor, which is my favorite part here.

Very bitter and astringent finish, would be great for someone looking for that style of tequila You can taste the bitterness from tahona method and agave fibres being left in for fermentation Not many fruity or spices esters Notes of Caramel come out once package gets warmed up

A touch of agave on the nose, whiskey right through the finish. Nice dryness from the barrel.

The aroma is heavy on the barrel. Flavour is hot and barrel forward. Great tequila for a whiskey drinker.

I found this to be an excellent sipping drink and enjoyed the smoothness, a hint of sweet at first then impactful flavor. Not my number one choice but close.
