Aroma : Cooked agave with herbal, vegetal notes and some earth and mineral tones. Flavor : Tons of creamy, sweet cooked agave with butter, vanilla, and nutty undertones. There is also some pepper, cinnamon, and baking spices. This is the right amount of spice and sweetness, with a full-flavored oily mouthfeel. Finish : Long lasting with a more mineral quality than the initial taste, slightly bitter.

Clearly a quality spirit but a bit too harsh for me in the high-proof expression. More pleasant when watered down a bit and with a drop or two of lime juice.

Hot damn! Delicious. Earthy nose with agave and fruity notes and a tiny bit of minerality. Butter explodes on the palate, followed with sweet agave and a hint of almonds. Finish is agave and almond. There’s no burn, but there’s definite heat present throughout. Easily worth the price and I highly recommend.

Lots of cooked agave on the nose with a little mineral too. Not picking up any alcohol for it being a high proof. Taste is much the same with some burn and some agave sweetness but in a good way. Finish is what one would expect from a high proof. Me likes.

Very Agave forward with earthy aromas, nice juicy/buttery agave flavor!

After drinking this bottle very slowly over several months, I am still amazed at how pure and great agave flavor this has to offer. This deserves a place on most authentic blanco tequila flavors ever made. It is up there in my top 5 blancos.

Aromas of cooked agave, wet earth, and minerals. Sweet, rounded agave and mineral taste with a light, lingering finish. For a high proof (49% abv) it is highly drinkable and feels very authentic.

Lote 2 Nose: Lime, citrus rind, bold caramelized ripe agave, root vegetables, earthiness and river rocks. Somewhat floral. Some herbal notes present: thyme and rosemary. Flavor: The mouth feel is explosive. It is teeming with pepper and brown spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, enfolded in big buttery agave slathered vanilla/almond creaminess. Almost salty. Finish isn’t as complex as the aromas & flavor. A hint of bitterness lingers.

Amazing aroma and taste for a blanco. Could easily pass as an añejo without the Smokey aftertaste. Definitely recommend.

Opened the bottle to smell a wave of warm agave and the first image that came to mind was baked agave cookies. So delish! I will buy again and share with friends. The higher proof content in this bottle for me makes this more of a 'have to buy bottle' more so than the regular blanco.

What an amazing high proof Blanco! Lots and lots of agave on the mouth (not to the extent where it’s overpowering though). Incredibly smooth finish.

Grand Dovejo high-proof Blanco is one of the best available. The phenomenal buttery sweet cooked agave and natural taste is outstanding. I put this in the upper echelon of high-proof natural Blancos.

This is a fantastic example of how good a high-proof tequila can be. Boatloads of agave, done right. Buy a case of this stuff!
