NOM 1477 | LCS Tequila Event February 2020 Nose: Honey, spice, vanilla and unmistakable French oak aroma. Flavor: Over the top sweetness. Heat and some salinity. But the sweetness simply overwhelms all other flavors.

NOM 1560 | I just can’t get past the cloying sweetness, this smells AMAZING and promptly makes me gag like I’m sipping on maple syrup. People love this stuff and I don’t want to rain if their parade but this just isn’t my jam.

There is some oak on the nose and in the flavor with some heat but the sweetness is the big player.

NOM 1477 | Lots of French oak and far too much sweetness. Does not seem like tequila.

A good mixing tequila since it is sweet. However, I can taste the additives without mixing it.

NOM 1477 | Strong butterscotch, lots of syrup would be better served on pancakes! This does not taste like tequila.

NOM 1560 | Mexican version, 38% ABV. I don’t automatically hate anything with additives, but when they’re so overdone to the point where the final product doesn’t even taste like tequila I have issues. The nose is nice, but the palate feels and tastes like maple syrup and there’s no agave to be found. This might be a good gateway bottle for non-tequila drinkers, but that’s where my appreciation for it ends. Not the flavor profile I’m looking for in an XA.

Very easy on the nose. You can smell the wood right off the bat. Not a heavy alcohol aroma which help you smell all of different notes. You can feel all of the sugars roll across your tongue as you sip on it which give it kinda of a creamy texture. Not even a heavy alcohol taste on the back end. Definitely a good one to have if you enjoy a sweeter tequila!

NOM 1477 | This is probably one of the sweetest tequilas I have tasted, but it matches my sweet tooth perfectly. Caramel, Vanilla and toffee notes come through in a very smooth finish.

NOM 1477 | This feels like it's a dessert or after dinner tequila for sure. It is sweet, definitely the sweetest tequila I've ever had. I get notes of honey and vanilla throughout the whole ride. It does feel thicker than most which could be the sweet factor. Absolutely for sipping.

Very sweet, makes a great after dinner supper. Great color, long legs, caramel, chocolate and nice oak flavors.

One for the sweetest more like a liqueur or dessert tequila. Flavor is good especially for new tequila drinkers. I can’t make this a regular drink.

NOM 1477 | Bottle 000411. Super sweet. Honey and caramel come right out the gate. Finished with a slight hint of agave.

NOM 1560 | Bought a bottle while on vacation in Mexico long before I knew anything about good, well made tequila. I can only describe this as overly sweetened liquid tequila candy.

Artificially sweet, however I enjoyed it when I start sipping tequila. This is no longer my favorite taste Endulzado artificialmente, lo disfrute cuando empeze a tomar tequila pero ya no es de mi agrado

So this one also, is better than the blanco & repo. Lots of sweetness. No existence of agave aromas or flavor.

Nose is heavy sweetness, maple syrup, butterscotch and toasted oak, almost overly sweet ( artificial ), thick sticky mouth feel. Surprisingly I found the finish rather good oak and spice stayed for a good amount of time.
