Oak and toasted almond on the nose, smells good enough to take the leap. Just waaaaaaay to sweet to have more than one but an improvement over the Reposado in than at least it has some oak in the background.

Super sweet nose with spicy notes. Entirely too sweet and manipulated. The entire line up of expressions is a poor example of true tequila. Brings new meaning to “Americanized tequila.”

This is extremely sweet. So sweet that it no longer resembles a tequila at all. The aroma has some fruit and baking spice but the flavor is so loaded with sugar that I can't taste anything else. Finish is non existant. This is a product designed for people who don't like tequila.

Heavy aroma and flavor of pitted fruit (peach, guayabana?), baking spices and caramel. Little to no finish. Saccharine aftertaste. So sweet it tastes like a schnapps or sweet digestivo. No agave, therefore I wouldn't consider it a tequila.

I tried this tequila for the first time in Mexico. This is what got me into sipping tequila. To the nose you get caramel, vanilla, hints of cinnamon as well as cooked agave. Taste is exactly what you smell with a bit of a peppery finish. One of my favorites so far. People say it is overly sweet but I believe it has the right amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend it!

Very sweet, not much agave flavor. Best for novice tequila drinkers...

I like the Blanco in this family because there still was an agave beginning and ending. But with this Anejo all of the agave and tequila warm finish was completely non-existent! The aroma is fantastic, lots of caramel and butterscotch notes but the taste was very, very disappointing. Aftertaste was almost like an artificial sweetener?!

Excellent well rounded anejo with a smooth finish that will not choke your throat as it passes your pallet. The aromatic spices give it finish unlike your typical tequila.

For someone who really enjoys tequila in it's purest form, this is not the tequila for you. I was gifted this and that's how it ended on my shelf. It has a 38% instead of 40% alcohol content, and I think that this 2% is sugar. I have never tried a sweeter tequila, and unfortunately it is a cloying sweetness that takes away from it for me. The caramel and vanilla aromas are nice, but the flavor is just over the top. What it does offer, is an option for someone who has aversions to tequila due to past experiences. For that reason it is worth keeping around.

I enjoy a sweet tequila so if you do not, then you won’t like Adictivo. Much like Cava De Oro this tequila is very sweet up front and has good flavor if you can get past the fruity sweetness. I like it as an after dinner sipper. The finish is medium lasting and left the taste of tobacco on the tongue. The price really bumped up the rating here also, at 660 peso or approximately 32$ US it’s a bargain

An oak molasses and light spice aroma with a taste to match. Sweet tasting and more of a after dinner desert drink
