Honestly this wasn't the absolute worst stuff I tasted at Monterey on 10/23/2021. Those ratings are coming.

NOM 1477 | Bottle #7983: The bottles are very nice, featuring heavy twisted glass with top that hold a shot or so of liquid. These overly smooth and sweet tequilas may be best for 'after dinner or people that want a sweet, easy to sip experience. Nose/Aroma: French oak barrel, vanilla, caramel, herbaceous, nutmeg, coconut, fruit cake, apple, cinnamon, agave, sweet, cherry fruit notes, honey and maple syrup, and a cognac-like oaky presence. The taste is noticeably very sweet and sugary, along with white pepper, pear or peach, apple, caramel and vanilla. It is a very sweet sipping tequila. Finish is sweet and short without heat.

Decent nose, has noticeable agave but comes off as rather sweet, like sugar in a skillet. Crazy sweet from start to finish in my mouth, this is going to be popular with people who like the idea of drinking tequila but don’t like the taste.

NOM 1477 | Heavy roasted agave and vanilla, with a smooth effortless sweet finish, although the agave is sent to the back. This definitely has additives, but this is my favorite “desert tequila”. It’s just so damn easy to drink. crucify me

Very smooth and sippable but it lacks the complexity I like in the flavor profile. It is very sweet upfront and carries an almost overwhelming vanilla taste all throughout, making other flavors, which are present, hard to identify.
