NOM 1477 | Bottle #7983: The bottles are very nice, featuring heavy twisted glass with top that hold a shot or so of liquid. These overly smooth and sweet tequilas may be best for 'after dinner or people that want a sweet, easy to sip experience. Nose/Aroma: French oak barrel, vanilla, caramel, herbaceous, nutmeg, coconut, fruit cake, apple, cinnamon, agave, sweet, cherry fruit notes, honey and maple syrup, and a cognac-like oaky presence. The taste is noticeably very sweet and sugary, along with white pepper, pear or peach, apple, caramel and vanilla. It is a very sweet sipping tequila. Finish is sweet and short without heat.

Decent nose, has noticeable agave but comes off as rather sweet, like sugar in a skillet. Crazy sweet from start to finish in my mouth, this is going to be popular with people who like the idea of drinking tequila but don’t like the taste.

Very sweet, lot's of lingering agave. Grapefruit on the palate. Slight minerality pulls through.

I couldn't do it. This tequila has the worst smell and taste of any tequila I have tried. Musty, wet dog, play dough aromas & taste. The finish has a long cake batter after taste.

Pretty bottle, but the tequila is not good. It's like if they mixed very little agave with a lot of simple syrup.. pass on this .

This is what tequila would taste like if you poured it over Cheerios and then ate them and took a shot of the leftovers from the bottom of the bowl. I am not addicted.

NOM 1560 | Nose is thin, definitely has a bit of ‘nail polish remover’. Fake sweetness all over the palette. Not my fav. Finish is all artificial.

NOM 1560 | Tastes sweet, light body, syrupy after taste. Comes across as though there’s additives, the finish isn’t terrible

The tequila world thinks this one is too, too sweet. What is so wrong with sweet? We all love the sweet caramel nuances in the anejos and XAs so why can't we love them in a Blanco as well? Many reviews say there are artificial sweeteners added. Until I see proof of that I am not going to accuse, I loved it this Blanco just to sip... for the price $40..stellar.
