Soon to be available, this was a pleasant surprise at the Taco and Tequila fest in Seattle. Nicely oaked agave with barrel spice notes and caramel and vanilla.

Mexican 38% abv., flat and wider bottle version, lot: LT021023EA, bottled on 23-10-2023, tasted on 6-12-24. Color: dark yellow to light brown. Aromas: very light sweet cooked agave, resinous sweetness, light but pungent honey, hint of black pepper, light earthiness, fruity! After 20 minutes in the glass a light astringent aroma of the wood note emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light bodied aromatic wood note similar to French oak cask, intense caramel, quite aromatic but cooked agave aromas & flavors are rather subtle. Light smoky sensation through my retronasal. Finish is medium to long, light cooked agave with light honey sweetness and aroma through my retronasal, light earthiness, light fruitiness with light resinous sweetness persists.
