This is the second lot ($99). It's a blend of 4, 7 and 8 year old tequilas. Much better than its predecessor ($190). Notes of dried fruit, vanilla and nuts. The finish was incredible.

I'll echo the several other reviews and say that this is a well blended 4, 7, and 8 year product. Oak, vanilla, baking spice along with cherry fruit notes that lead to a long lasting finish.

This blend is much more barrel heavy than I expected. On the nose I'm flooded with oak and smoke. There is also a subtle vanilla note that softens it out a bit. The flavor has a lot of spice. Cinnamon and oak are strong notes with a little bit of smoke on the finish. It's a very complex on the nose and the taste. Perfect for a winter night.

Strong oak aroma with complex mix of undertones - fruit (cherry and banana), brine (black olive and dill), and hints of clay, agave and almond. Good spice on initial tasting and that peppery flavor builds and lasts. Other flavors of vanilla and fruit. Long, lingering finish is very good. A great blend at a reasonable XA price.

My first extra anejo. Strong oak, caramel, vanilla and spice. Some pepper, but overall smooth and a long pleasant finish. Some agave of course but I don't recall this being the dominant character. Zero off flavors make this a winner.
