Very sweet, great after dinner or cocktail coffee mixer
This is tough one to properly judge against classic tequilas, it’s thick & syrupy which precludes it from enjoying by itself. Mix this will equal parts Patron Blanco over ice and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Is this tequila or a liqueur? Had some at a party so I couldn’t see the bottle. A good patron idea—coffee plus tequila—I see the market. Not bad but not good. I should try it (like others have said) from the freezer.
Sweet coffee liquor with tequila. Not my thing but it's ok for after dinner dessert drink. Prefer xo cafe incendio the chilli chocolate tequila blend.
At room temperature this a dull and unremarkable product. However, from the freezer in comes alive with a bold Chocolate and coffee aroma and flavor. Very sweet with a very short finish.
This is not really tequila for myself. Very surypy sweet sugary coffee. No tequila taste. Not to bad in coffee with some cream.
Mexican 35% abv. version, lote: XOCA0040214, bottled on 12-03-2014, tasted on 9-2-24. Color: black ink. Aroma: very very sweet agave like aroma which doesn’t seem natural, vanilla extract, heavy toasted coffee note, toasted caramel, alcohol sensation is very low. Palate: tastes as it smells, even sweeter! Finish is medium to medium long, vanilla extract, heavy toasted coffee note with unnatural agave sweetness persists.
Well- this is meant to be a coffee tequila and it hits it on point. Hard to rate against other non coffee tequilas. Aroma is good for what I wanted- coffee- no other aromas. Actually may be a hint of agave?? I think?? Some vanilla. Palate- coffee- coffee beans with sugar- sweet. It’s actually very good and taste exactly the way I was hoping. Nothing like coffee with a hint of agave and vanilla. Finish- coffee with a sweetness that lingers and reminds me of a caramel macchiato from Starbucks. It may be a little too sweet because the sweetness last. It works great in a Baby Guinness- and then finish up with a slow sipper.
This stuff was pretty decent. Too sweet to sip on in my opinion, but for a coffee focused cocktail it was a solid mixer.
Humm … it tastes ok , knowing what it is , but too thick & syrupy for me .
aroma: coffee, agave, chocolate Taste: coffee, sweet Finish : is short and very sweet
Great for a coffee inspired cocktail.
Coffee
Aroma is coffee and vanilla Taste is coffee, chocolate and vanilla Finish is coffee and short
Tequila actually comes through in the aroma and taste but they are other coffee liqueurs that are comparable if that's your thing. I find this too sweet and too expensive. It's Branding.
Not bad. good as an after dinner drink. I like a little in my ice coffee. good luck finding it as its discontinued.
Had to try it. Strong coffee aromas. Taste has Coffee, chocolate, cinnamon. Very camdy like.
Smells pleasant like coffee
coffee vanilla caramel chocolate sweet smell + taste pair well with dessert thick
Coffee forward aperitif, voluminously silky mouthfeel, a myriad of applications this spirit could be used.

Aroma: Hardly any aroma, light coffee notes. Taste: Strong coffee liqueur taste, slightly syrupy. Finish: Nice Patrón agave tequila finish at the end. Overall: An excellent tequila liqueur, doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. I was generous with the scoring, mainly because I enjoy having a coffee liqueur with good tequila. A great value at the $20 I paid.
