5 yr high proof xa, nutty, barrel notes, sweet Carmel and vanilla, hazel nut, finish ended quickly. Price point is obviously high so the value score lowers a little.

Full of oak and barrel spices … cooked agave and vanilla on the nose … black pepper on the mouth probably due to it being 100 proof.

Butterscotch and caramel, with agave and slight mint note. Body comes in hot, even considering the abv, fades quickly. Immediate hit of pepper, oak and tannins. Dances on the back of the tongue nicely. Overall a little short and hot.

Vanilla, baking spice, baked Agave

Aroma: Love this aroma. It's very complex. Orange blossom, cinnamon, oak, and a bit of vanilla. Flavor: Strong upfront. I get a little oak, banana and vanilla. Slightly bitter on the finish. Not overpoweringly oaky which I like. Definitely solid. Just wish the finish wasn't quite as bitter as it is. *Blind Tasting*

Nice nose…. Woody, brown sugar, maple, cinnamon, dried cherries, orange-marmalade and alcohol. Deep bourbon-like amber color. Medium mouthfeel. Strong cognac / brandy-like profile. Sharp and sweet bite with strong barrel character, oak, baking spices and cracked-pepper. Comes in hot and sweet and lingers through a long warm finish.

For those that don't know much about Tequila, this one is for you!

All I got from this is agave and oak in a very elegant way… but it has been more drinking involved. The wine cask definitely plays a nice part on this spirit.

cognac-grape like sipping experience

Very aromatic, herbal nose, cummins, caraway seeds backed by agave sweetness. Taste starts with sweet agave, herbal notes carries thru, red fruits mingling with spices/fennel, fat-er mouthfeel. Long memorable finish.

Not a smooth as I expected for a 5 year

Love the 50% abv. After all with cask matured distillate, it’s the ethanol that delivers the aroma and flavors. And Dulce Vida delivers! So much going on here. Baked agave, caramel, baking spices, stewed fruits, brine, some minerals, vanilla for sure, flowers, pencil lead...you get the point. 91 all day long.

A whisky and wine lovers tequila. a beautiful nose that has red berry notes floating in with tequila and oak, grilled red peppers. On the palate wine comes to the fore and then tequila notes, sawdust and finishes with soft drying tannins.

So much burn... the strength of the proof is the first thing that hits you — and it’s a doozy. Once you get over that, the flavors are actually amazing, and you can really get that cooked agave, and oak. Finish lingers because of the proof but for the right crowd (high proof scotch drinkers) this could be fun to put in a flight

Beautiful color to it and looks very delicious Nose has floral,oak,cinnamon, vanilla and alcohol. Lots of oak,cinnamon followed buy alcohol taste with a nice heavy body. Shorter finish then I thought it would have with the higher proof but you can still tell it’s 100proof. I found it for $90 and at that price it was well worth adding a bottle to the collection.

Very strong alcohol rush, good flavor though

Great stuff with notes of cooked agave, maple syrup, raisins, pineapples, sultanas, dark chocolate, honey, caramel, bananas, vanilla, peaches, apricots, almonds, cinnamon, chili, and coffee.

Sweet floral nose, hint of cinnamon. Body is light and airy, notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and pepper. Finish floats away like a mist.
