Nose: There is a warm, vibrant blend of oak and spice upon opening. Followed by rich agave notes, the unmistakable fragrance of peachy fruitiness, and creaminess. Flavor: Flavors follow the aromas: creamy, barrel spiciness with a pepper kick. Very pleasing mouth feel. Kind of like sitting down to a decadent dessert of peach custard, drizzled with vanilla and toffee.

Finally able to taste the last Unique product. A non medallion bottle meaning a 2nd or 3rd release, this anejo has some of the creme brulee of the XA, just not as evident until sitting for 8 to 10 minutes. Sad these are .375, happy they exist at all.

Mexican 40% abv. versión, no lot code but on the rear of the bottle a silver color sticker with bar code states: Folio: 00016, marbete is from year 2000, tasted on 10-12-24. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light acidity, light citrus, hint of resinous sweetness, light wood note, hint of fruitiness, the wood note becomes more intense, astringent and slightly dominating as time goes by. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, but the wood note is slightly dominating, light vanilla. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of sweet cooked agave, hint of vanilla, hint of fruitiness with light wood note persists. Note to self: drink this tequila sooner than later after serving.
