This rating is for the Circulo Joven expression that has replaced the Reposado expression, which is no longer in their lineup. The Joven is their blanco with 6 year old XA added. Ricardo Basulto presenting. Nose: Agave forward. The barrel makes itself known with notes of caramel, cinnamon and vanilla. A little mushroom compost aroma going on. Flavors: Quite viscous. Coffee, toffee, kicky white pepper and creamy sweet agave in harmony. Finish holds the white pepper heat forever - but the velvety caramelized agave makes it work. Loses points on value, for me. You are paying for a pretty bottle.

Courtesy of Senior Rick. Not the best effort from NOM 1535, this is fairly bitter with not much of a finish.

I was really impressed. It has a sweet taste to it, apple, citrus. The finish is very smooth with a hint of alcohol. This is currently my favorite right now as I was looking for one with a smooth finish. This is a keeper.
