June 10, 2023 Absolutely delicious tequila very well balanced - oak, agave, caramel. so easy to sip. David Suro does it again! special thanks to seattle juan for sharing and for picking us up a bottle.

Butterscotch cookies all day, this is entirely delicious and makes you wanna drink it by the gallon. Not a ton of roasted agave left in there but it’s a successful marriage of a great Blanco and a ton of barrel manipulation.

Cost is the only thing that drags this beautiful XA tequila's rating down. Edited to say that this is still an A Plus XA. Opened a recently found bottle of this from 2013 and for what was paid at WA retail and current secondary the juice is a real bargain.

I’m typically a Blanco drinker, but this is possibly my favorite XA. Perfect blend of Oak and agave… strong Caramel notes with hints of chocolate, vanilla and butterscotch. Very well balanced on the tongue that works perfectly together. Nice finish. I wish this was still around so I could buy another bottle.

Lovely sweet brunt caramel aroma. A bit of orange hints. bourbon taste first, not as sweet as expected. Nice clean finish. Medium body. Dark fruits - prunes, raisins

Aromas of peach, oak and agave. When left to air notes of ripe melon as well. Initial taste is agave, oak, melon and hints of caramel. Finishes with notes of agave, butterscotch and custard. So so good. Very smooth and Complex. Had to put the bottle away so I wouldn't drink it all

Drink: Siembra Azul Suro Extra Añejo

He will, however, make an exception - ¡con gusto! - for the extraordinary extra añejos his distillery just issued, the five-year-old "Suro" aged in spicy American oak from the Ozarks, and the seven-year-old "Piñera" aged in French wood.
