Very peppery. It’s not bad but the bottle from Mexico is better then the domestic bottle.

Taste of rubbing alcohol, but not bad, immediately followed by agave and subtle sweet taste. I also taste anise, and smoke. In the dim light I thought it was clear and initially stated it was a blanco. The waiter told me it was an anejo after my tasting was done. That’s why I picked up hints of smoke.
