Barrel #777: Plenty of oak, caramel, and vanilla, while still preserving the agave before finishing with a hint of chocolate and pepper.
Single Barrel 863 288/300 Awesome !
Barrel 630
This was barrel for "The One"
Ciudad de las Rosas | Aged 5 years, 5 months and only 300 bottles made! Lighter French oak, herbal notes and spice. Deliciously.
Barrel 630, Bottle 154 of 300. Good quality tequila. Excellent sipped neat.
Barrel #246 | Bomb
Hi-Time Wine Cellars single barrel edition, barrel 1182, bottle 154 of 300. A lot of barrel flavor, oaky bitterness, and less agave flavor than I prefer. However, this is my brother’s favorite tequila.
Oak and a musty/dustyness then caramel and vanilla. Viscosity is thin. A sweet arrival and a development that is bitter and soapy. Finish is short and mild.
Nose of vanilla and spice, caramel and butterscotch. Smooth body and beautiful amber color. After bite tinge of sweet alcohol, oak. Tastes of caramel, burnt sugar, thick mouthfeel and creme brûlée. It is very sweet.
Barrel #246 | Absolutely incredible experience! Huge vanilla and caramel notes. Perfect sipper!
Very complex and rich from nose to finish. Vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, butterscotch and more. This a perfect tequila for sipping with friends!
Very smooth, nice finish, really nice bourbon flavor. Love it.
pleasant vanilla nose, smooth finish
Barrel 169, Bottle 257/300. Great tequila!
Barrel 676 Bottle 4/300
Tasted this at a special event in Seattle, hosted by David Yan Gonzalez, Global Brand Ambassador for Casa Noble. The main aroma I picked up was caramel. Flavors of vanilla and the oak from the French oak barrel. At this age, not much flavor of the agave. Finish very smooth like a fine sipper. I have seen some "sale" prices but still higher end.
Great stuff. Notes of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, Agave, coconut, and hints of pepper
Barrel #383 Cancun Duty Free I love Casa Noble in general, but this Extra Anejo kicks it up a notch. This is a very smooth tequila, but due to the single barrel approach (I presume) it is also full of flavour. Very interesting taste and finish. I was less enamoured with the nose, but the taste is wonderful!
I believe I like everything this distillery produces. Really good aroma, taste and finish in their entire line. I will always have Casa Noble in my tequila collection. I’m having a Jaime Garcia cigar with this to boot. This is from barrel 464 - need to find out how to all these to TequilaMatch along with new ones not listed. Cost $84.99 + $6.03 shipping
NOM 1137 | Light, crisp amber color. Wonderful rich nose- caramel, honey, butterscotch (butterbeer?), Werthers candy, some cooked agave (and maybe just a hint of green bell pepper?) Nice agave flavor with a soft oakiness. Only slightly sweet and not bitter at all. Kind of a harsh burn at the first sip but unpleasant at all. Finish is pleasant. Slightly complex. Medium length. Glass empties quickly as this one is very easy to sip.
Starts you off with a nice toasty aroma then brings you home with a smith toasty taste which is a complex combination of agave and vanilla and caramel flavored coming from the toast. Very Nice
Balanced flavor, one of the best.
Was able to get my hands on a bottle of this prized Extra Anejo. This bottle is from barrel #69 bottle 250 of 300. I am a big fan of the Anejo, so you can imagine I was very excited to add this to my collection. After tasting the 2 side by side, this is what I found. The comparison is very similar. However the Extra Anejo lacks the alcohol on the nose and is quite a bit more smooth on the tongue. The regular Anejo is sharp at first with a lingering light burn, the Flavor of oak and vanilla is quite evident. The extra Anejo lacks the sharpness of the 2yr. The vanilla is found much faster, with a quick peppery burn and a long lasting flavor of the oak barrels. This may be best tequila I have had to date. Not sure where to go from here, perhaps the 8yr.
