12/2023 NOM 1551 I'm rating this in a cocktail, not as a sipping tequila. I found it quite enjoyable

Had this one chilled. Higher score for the fresh and strong aroma and cheap at the bar I had it. Nice bite, not hot, but very flavorful. I will repeat.

Not for sipping but can be added in a margarita. Need a small amount to not it overpower the drink.

NOM 1551 | Smooth but not spicy fresh cut jalapeño flavor.

Had a very small sample at a bar, so can’t really rate on aroma and price. Not overly spicy at all. I’d call it a very pleasant mixture of agave and jalapeño. I bet it makes a fantastic mixer and I’d definitely drink it again neat.

Smells like simulated jalapeno potato chips. Vegetal, bell pepper as well. Fairly spicy as should be considering the infusion. Trying my 2nd flavoured tequila and overall pretty decent. They got this infusion right.

NOM 1437 | Super Jalepeño scent and spice. It should more subtle for my taste.

More vegetal jalapeño aroma than straight spice/heat. Great for mixing.

NOM 1551 | Aroma of fresh jalapeño. I love how they capture the flavor of the jalapeño and not just the spice. Easily the best way to make a spicy margarita.

NOM 1551 | Oh my gosh. I’m so embarrassed. I bought an airplane bottle out of curiosity. This stuff filled the room with jalapeño aroma when I opened it. It followed up with destroying my ability to smell and taste. It ruined a nice Friday night. I took one for the team. Please forgive my impulsiveness. I do like the blanco. Those people rating in the 90s are idiots. Can I say that here?

Smells amazing but I did not enjoy as a shot or even in a mixed drink, although I love spicy everything! May be good to cook with

NOM 1551 | Smells good w/ jalapeño & agave. Taste is pretty strong jalapeño with agave. I love jalapeño right off the grill & in cooking. The finish is super harsh. Mixed 50/50 with Mi Campo blanco and made a nice spicy margarita.

This is certainly a tequila for mixing. Was absolutely fantastic in a margarita. It smells like fresh jalapeno and had just the right amount of spice. I do not recommend drinking straight or as a shot. The finish is harsh and the spice only adds to the burn. 100% recommend for a spicy margarita.

Jalapeño tequila was great to cook with, but was not a sipper or mixer that I enjoyed. Other than the obvious Jalapeño, the tequila has a vegetal cooked agave, briney, and peppery taste. Medium body with a tad of alcohol on the nose. I'm not knocking this one, but must admit it's not my thing. Don't be afraid to cook with it. It's wonderful in the kitchen.

Not really a sipping tequila but would be delicious in margaritas. It is missing a full body and has a crackle taste on the tongue similar to Casa Deagones but with water taste. It's price point is 15 dollars more than a solid bottom shelf tequila, which I prefer for margaritas.

NOM 1551 | Good for easy Jalapeño Margs. Not good for sipping!

Suprised on how smooth this was. Jalepeno heavy on the nose and mouth, to be expected. You'll taste Jalapenos for about 10 minutes after. Definitely not a sipper for me, but would be great for making margaritas or Palomas.

Amazing tequila for price, smoothness and quality. I purchased this for making margaritas and ended up sipping the tequila since it was so tasty and smooth. Definitely would buy again. They have different options as well. Nicely done Tanteo. Big fan for life eh.
