This has been one of my go to tequilas because of its great value. For an inexpensive sipper or mixing into a cocktail, this tequila provides a nice balance between quality and price.

The flavor is very nice and complex. I get notes of raw agave, vanilla, oak, and clay. It's sharp and slightly medicinal but not overpowering. The flavor meshes up pretty well with the aroma except I get a lot of pepper upfront. It transitions to a little agave and oak and finishes with a vanilla note. It hangs around in your mouth for quite a while allowing you to get all those different flavors in one sip. Definitely a nice and unique Reposado.

This bottle is a 1431 NOM. Aroma is discreet agave, black pepper and cut grass. Wow...this is a flavor bomb. Thick and oily on the tongue what begins as a very moderate builds quickly and delivers pepper and baking spice along with caramel and a heat that just uses and rises and rises. The finish is long, warm and stays with you for a minute and a half to two minutes. Very nice.
