Complex nose: Deep butterscotch and toffee notes start the waves of aromas. Baking spices, chiefly nutmeg and cinnamon red hots, vanilla and ripe dark fruit follow. There are undercurrents of lactic and earth. Flavors: Very Oily with potent baking spice and black pepper. Rich butterscotch, vanilla and anise keep the pepper in check - but just barely. This tequila has a richness to it.

Lean for an añejo. Light. Doesn't reach as deep as some others (tasted it next to Orgullo) but extremely tasty nonetheless. Buttery, bittersweet oak, long agave finish. When I heard how much it cost, I was doubly impressed. Would buy again.
