Not complex or particularly smooth. I get mostly alcohol with a tinge of agave. Not what I am looking for in a reposado. Other raters seem to have called this spiciness. Perhaps just not my profile

AROMA Clean soft wood citrus vanilla pepper BODY agave heat vanilla caramel, nice flavor FINISH nice peppery linger. Spicy, nice
The bottle of reposado I have has a hand written date of 2007 on it. At 7 plus years old I expect better...but seriously if you see this bottle salvage it and savor the 7 month aged spirit within. On a night of reposado tastings this was a standout for spiciness. Some barrel bitterness, but it works within the context of the overall flavor profile. Agave upfront followed by spice and a long side of tongue numbing effect.
