Wood Tavern Berkeley, CA easy sipper with balanced spice and sweetness ending in a quick, dry finish.

Very nice aroma, agave, sweetness, light earth. Flavor is on the light side but agave and flowers come through. Finish is long and has some spice.

Solid blanco with good minerality some citrus and agave in the aroma. Taste is good with some dark sweetness but plenty of agave and earth. Finish is ok. Thanks Hugo at Baja Betty’s for the taste!

Nose: agave is there but scent is off-putting overall Flavor: meh, dull, slightly bitter flavors, taste of crunchy savory biscuits and pepper Finish: peppery finish

The aroma was strong of alcohol so i let it open up for a bit and the agave came through. It tasted how I suspected based on the aroma. Baked agave, pepper and alcohol. It was a bit hot as it stung my throat a bit. It was sweeter than i expected, so i suspect maybe some glycerin, but not sure. This was a bit thin and presented almost like a reposado.

NOM 1558 | Like that loud fun friend, Chamucos is what it is.... and I appreciate that. It isn’t for fancy after dinner sipping, It isn’t for people who don’t like tequila. It is for taking a rip and bringing some heat. Always on my shelf for that reason. Love it! I ran across it at a tasting party. It was the one you wanted to drink after a few shots, when you moved from thoughtful tasting to having a good time. First bottle to go dry.

No real distinctive smell. Flavor is missing something. May be better as a mix

A bit hot on the nose. Agave, some spice, a little citrus. Some cleanser in the finish.
