NOM 1586 | Peppercorn, green agave
The aroma was strong of alcohol so i let it open up for a bit and the agave came through. It tasted how I suspected based on the aroma. Baked agave, pepper and alcohol. It was a bit hot as it stung my throat a bit. It was sweeter than i expected, so i suspect maybe some glycerin, but not sure. This was a bit thin and presented almost like a reposado.
NOM 1558 | Another brand I’m on the fence with, not good or bad, just right down the middle. I get agave but not that rich flavour I’m looking for, seems a little watered down.
NOM 1586 | Nose: Fruit and agave, a mineral note, and some floral undertones. Palate: Semi oily, spicy with pepper, and some almond-like hints. A touch of pineapple.
Wood Tavern Berkeley, CA easy sipper with balanced spice and sweetness ending in a quick, dry finish.
Very nice aroma, agave, sweetness, light earth. Flavor is on the light side but agave and flowers come through. Finish is long and has some spice.
NOM 1414 | Big floral notes in the nose and mouth with this NOM1414 bottle from a few years ago.
NOM 1414 | NOM 1414.
NOM 1414 | NOM 1414. NOM 1414.
NOM 1414 | This taste of Chamucos came from NOM 1414. While the nose is a bit more complex than the taste, there is a lot of nice earth, agave, and pepper in this blanco, and is a nice example of the tequilas from Arandas. The nose also has a bit of a cake batter element that some people will dig too. I love the long and intense finish, but my only dig on this tequila was that I found a bit too much bitterness in the finish for my personal taste. Other than that, I still have not come across a tequila that has been made by Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados NOM (1414), that I have not liked - Good Stuff!
NOM 1586 | Aroma was funky. lactic, musty. a bit off putting but nonetheless flavors were decent. good body. needed to exhale on finish on these sips. overall ok.

The aroma is amazing and when considering the size of my nose, one would be foolish to disagree. Just raw, “meaty” aroma of agave. I seriously can’t stop inhaling this (sorry WJ Clinton). Huge bargain Tequila in my opinion. This and Pasote are my go to, under the radar blancos in the Worcester area. Simon wey
NOM 1586 | The more I drink this tequila, the more I love it! It’s so complex. When u first smell it, you think “this can’t be right, what the?” Then you dive in and it’s like the bottle evolves as you go. It’s peppery hot in the mouth and goes down super smooth. All kinds of side notes to the agave. Awesome

NOM 1586 | I’d use for mixing. Aroma is flat yet flavorful, getting primarily citrus, grapefruit and lime. The downside was the metallic finish.
NOM 1586 | Flat aromas of agave, citrus & pepper Flavor it’s a fun mix of citrusy flavors; grapefruit, orange, tangerine & lime Briny/metallic finish Good for cocktails, decreased points due to high price for what if offers
An agave nose with some minerals. There is spice but not full and robust. The mouth feel coats with a short finish. Just mediocre.
#1586. what the funk is tasting going on in here? Smells like rotten cheese & cow patties mixed! The taste is like a bad rotten egg. hopefully it was just a bad bottle of juice. I give it a chance to Air it out for a week. this will be sitting in my collection untouched.
Got a little bite to it but like it a lot
NOM 1586 | I really like this. Nice agave up front (baking spices) nice peppery backend. Great taste very surprised. Definitely something to try.
NOM 1586 | NOM 1586 Aroma: sweet agave some alcohol Flavor: can’t make it out but initial sweetness and cooked agave. Mouthfeel is silky vicious then thins out to the finish. Finish is lacking a bit almost no finish and then it comes back, weird but interesting no burn but some tingle on the tongue. Overall good especially at $29!!!
Solid blanco with good minerality some citrus and agave in the aroma. Taste is good with some dark sweetness but plenty of agave and earth. Finish is ok. Thanks Hugo at Baja Betty’s for the taste!

NOM 1586 | A nice blanco, nothing exceptional. True to its form. Shows well.
