This is really delicious, warm and soft from beginning to end. Alcohol stands up well to the barrel influence, this is a great sipper.

Recommended to me by Tequila Matchmaker. This is a very spicy, as in cardamom, nutmeg, oak spicy, anejo. Fairly long finish in accord with the spiciness. I like it. Good rec TM!!

I rated this tequila blind, during the 2013 Spirits of Mexico competition in San Diego.

Sweet, luscious caramel. A real top choice for me in my short experience with these fine tequilas. These Cavas progress very smoothly from the milder, more agave-forward reposado to the liqueur-like dense sweetness of the extra añejo, and I love all three for what they are. The repo for your nightly drinker, añejo for getting liquored up after dinner, and extra añejo for special-occasion sipping.

Very sweet for my taste. Nice aroma and finish, sugar cane, agave and oaky flavor. A dessert spirit

In my opinion it is very sweet with a slightly artificial sweetener taste. More of a desert tequila in small doses but does get friends to try tequila for the first time.

Sweet with hints of oak, honey and vanilla. Smooth finish. Not too spicy. More of a dessert tequila. Initial impression was a little rum like. Great aroma, mild and nice.

It has a nice caramel color to it, sweet agave oaky goodness to the aroma, very light oily body with a nice smooth short-medium finish with just little bit of barrel spice kick to it. Over all a nice tequila not as much flavor as the nose leads you to believe.

This is a sweet tequila, and has found a good reception with everyone I have given a taste to. it is a pity it is so difficult to find

Much less sweet than the XA. More bang for the buck here. I get notes of agave honey and caramel. So smooth going down you will check the label for the alcohol percent. I really like this one and it's extremely difficult to locate outside of Southern California.

This is a sweeter variety (not as sweet as the extra anejo though) without a lot of agave, but has a great taste and is a great sipping tequila. A bit expensive, but definitely a guilty pleasure. I prefer the Reposado actually - not quite as sweet.

Blind taste tested. Candied agave oak nose, a very syrupy body, medium to medium dark color. Sweet sugarcane Oakey flavor, a lot of heat and spices on the finish. Not generally a fan of sweet tequilas, however this one definitely has a place as an aperitif. Interesting balance andI I like the bite. Note: square bottle.
