Light artificial sweetness, slight solvent on the back.

Harsh in a kind of fun way that only a tequila bottle wrapped in stamped leather can get away with.

Enjoyable. Sippable if you enjoy your blancos a little on the edge and not cloyingly sweet.

NOM 1447 | Mexican 38% abv. version, no lot code, marbete is from year 2003, tasted on 10-6-24. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, hint of anise, hint of resinous sweetness, light lactic note that doesn’t bother, light acidity, hint of citrus, light fruitiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, light lactic note balanced with light sweet agave through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with light lactic sensation, hint of anise with light fruity note persists.

CJ's quote is funny on this one! Oufff. Lots of alcohol with a sugar circus going on that does give you a tequila feel. But super mild, lacking in flavor, like that Latin jazz album you've been hearing over and over for the last 44 years.
